The Government has announced a new jobs plan for Dublin that aims to create 66,000 roles over the coming years.

Prices are 40pc lower compared with average January prices for the previous three years (2013-2015), and have reached a six-year low.

The money will be spent across a series of cross-border initiatives in the above regions.

The firm initially acquired an interest in the properties by way of secured loans of €18.2m in May 2014 with an option to take full ownership by mid-2016.

The new roles will be spread out across sales, technical support and account management.

The partnership will see Ulster Bank provide funding to YSI, which is a programme that looks to foster social innovation from a young age.

The jobs will be introduced through the planned development of the company’s new residential and day care facilities. 300 of the new positions are expected to be delivered over the course of this year.
